III.6. Texas School Safety Center Comprehensive Safety Audit- 2020-2023 District Audit Cycle
Description:
Every three years, the District is required to conduct a comprehensive safety audit and provide the results to the Texas School Safety Center. The district participates in the ESC 9 Safety Cooperative. As such, ESC 9 will conduct the review of facilities, etc. The superintendent or designee is required to complete the District Audit Reporting tool (/DARtool).
The DARtool will allow districts to submit audit findings to the TxSSC as required by Texas Education Code, 37.108(c). The DARtool will consist of up to 74 questions pertaining to your district’s safety and security audit(s). The questions will be divided into the following eight sections:

IV. Reconvene in Open Session to take any necessary action on items discussed in Executive Session to discuss Employment, Retirement, Resignation & Discussion of Personnel, Gov't Code 551.074 and/or to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, Gov't Code 555.072 or Specific Occasions for Implementation of Security Personnel or Devices, Gov't Code 551.076.
