5.B.1. Hidden Valley High School teacher Dan Spielman requests permission to accept a $15,000 grant for Hidden Valley Agriculture Department from Secondary Career Pathway.

5.C. Out of State Travel Request(s):

5.C.1. Evergreen Elementary Joseph Flaherty requests approval for out of state travel to attend the 2016 General and Special Education Conference in Seattle, Washington on March 2-4, 2016.  Professional Development funds will be used to pay for the conference.

5.C.2. North Valley Special Education teacher Vickie Nigh requests approval to attend the Brain-based Science Learning and Achievement Conference in Seattle, Washington March 2-4, 2016.  Professional Development funds will be used to pay for the conference.

5.C.3. Hidden Valley High School Teacher Ryan Clark requests approval to attend International Training Tour for educators being held in Rome, Italy on February 12-16, 2016.  Educational Tours pays for the travel and cost of the professional development.

5.C.4. Illinois Valley HS Athletic Director Bruce Reece requests approval for his football staff to attend a coaching clinic in Seattle, Washington on February 19-21, 2016.  They are paying for this from their District General Athletics Fund for Illinois Valley High School.

5.C.5. Hidden Valley teacher Chris Pendleton requests approval to travel with a student or group of students from the Hidden Valley HS Business program (JCF) to Minnesota to attend the 27th annual National Service Learning Conference (March 31-April 2).  At the conference the student(s) will be part of two different panels and receive a $1,000 grant for the Life Jacket project called Project FLOAT.  THE NSLC group will pay for three plane flights, hotel and registration for two students and one advisor.
