4.B.1. North Valley High School teacher Rob Moeny requests permission to travel to the National Speech and Debate Association National Tournament in Dallas, Texas June 14-20. There he will be coach of the South Oregon World Schools Debate Team and present a workshop. The South Oregon NFL will pay for his room. Rob Moeny will pay all other expenses.

4.B.2. Manzanita Principal Renee Hults requests approval for teachers Mrs. Dow and Mrs. Wolter to attend an Early Literacy Conference June 22-23 in Seattle, Washington. The teachers have applied to the teachers Professional Development Fund to cover registration costs and travel expenses.

4.B.3. North Valley High School teacher Rob Moeny requests permission to travel to Bloomington, Indiana to participate in the NCTA Teaching East Asian Literature Institute July 12-17. Rob Moeny is requesting funds from the teachers Professional Development Fund to cover the costs to attend.

4.B.4. North Valley teacher Tiffany Converse requests permission to take 28-30 leadership students to Disneyland in Anaheim, California from June 13-16. They are working on fundraising for the entire trip and will miss no school.

4.C.1. Applegate School Principal Darrell Erb is seeking board approval to submit a grant request to OSU/Jackson County Master Gardener Association in the amount of up to $300 to support purchases of soil, seeds, etc. in support of Applegate Garden Club at Applegate School.

4.C.2. Special Education Director Stephanie Allen-Hart would like to apply for a Four Way Community Foundation Grant that is targeted to support our students with intellectual disabilities. Our proposal specifically asks for $17,000 worth of curriculum and technology dollars and items that are not currently imbedded in the Special Education budget.
