Public Hearing and Consideration/Possible Action Regarding Resolution to Tax Goods-In-Transit - Notice is hereby given that on October 20, 2011, the Board of Trustees of the Leander Independent School District ("District") at its Regular Board Meeting will hold a public hearing at 9:00 p.m. at Cedar Park Middle School, located at 2100 Sun Chase Blvd., Cedar Park, Texas, concerning the contemplated taxation of Goods-In-Transit, which property, absent action the District, will become exempt from taxation, effective January 1, 2012, in accordance with the Texas Tax Code, Section 11.253. At the hearing, members of the public will be permitted to speak for or against the taxation of the property.
