Description:
CALL TO ORDER and an announcement by the president that a notice of the meeting has been posted in a manner required by law, and that a quorum is present.

Description:
The Board will now hear those who wish to make comments and who have completed and returned the Public Comment Participation Request. Complaints and concerns, for which other resolution channels are provided, shall be directed through those channels.

VI. Notice of Public Meeting for Agreement for Tax Collection Services
Description:
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the La Porte Independent School District ("La Porte ISD" or "District") will be held on August 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM for the purpose of considering and taking action on all matters on the agenda for the meeting, including approval of an agreement with a law firm to perform all legal services necessary to collect delinquent property taxes and authorizing the execution of such agreement.
