Convene in Closed Session per Texas Government Code Section:

The Board of Trustees will convene in closed session pursuant to one or more of the following sections of the Texas Open Meetings Act (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code): A Discussion of Personnel Issues 551.074

1.   Employment

2.   Retirement

3.   Resignation

4.   Reassignment

• Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, or to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

• Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.082, to deliberate a matter in which a complaint or charge is brought against an employee of the school district by another employee and the complaint or charge directly results in a need for a hearing.

• Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District’s attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including to conduct a Level III hearing on an employee matter.

Reconvene in Open Session 

Take Action on Items from Closed Session 

• Consider and take action on Level III Grievance filed by an employee
• Consider Superintendent's recommendations regarding employment in closed session.
