6.A. Presentation of status of delinquent tax roll collections by Carlos Arce of Perdue, Brandon et al.
 

6.B. Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget Workshop & related planning. The LISD School Board should plan to meet in late May (date TBD) to publicly discuss budget plans for the coming school year. Discussion will include a review of the preliminary certified values issued by the Chief Appraiser of the Real Central Appraisal District, state-mandated maximum compressed tax rates (MCR) for 2023 and estimated student enrollment. Additionally, the Board shall perform a needs-assessment exercise in order to identify common goals, to ensure the continued growth and enrichment of the District and programs offered. This may include discussions relative to assignment of unassigned, accumulated fund balance.

Note, in January 2024, Leakey ISD will begin accepting statements of qualifications and proposals from public accounting firms to perform the annual financial audit for fiscal year 2024.
 

8.D. Consider and Approve a Board Resolution to Extend Depository Contract between Leakey ISD and First State Bank of Uvalde from 6/30/2023 to 6/30/2025.
