I. CALL TO ORDER
Description:
Statement of Emergency: The surges in positive cases of COVID-19 infections in RISD schools has resulted in an unforeseen closure of one RISD school and the quarantine of entire classes in other schools, in addition to other quarantines across the district that could result in the need to close other campuses. As the numbers of positive cases continue to rise, time is of the essence and the Board of Trustees must receive critical information needed to determine appropriate actions to mitigate the increased imminent threat to public health and safety and ensure the continuation of essential operations.
