Subject: Campus Improvement Plans Administrator Responsible: Campus Principals Authority for this Action: Policies BQ Legal and BQ Local Strategic Objective, Goal or Need: The District shall develop Campus Improvement Plans that reflect the goals and objectives in the District Improvement Plan. The purpose of Campus Improvement Plans is to guide campus staff in the improvement of student performance for all student groups in order to attain state standards in respect to academic excellence indicators. Input for Campus Improvement Plans was received from each campus Leadership Team. You will also see that individuals responsible for monitoring and implementing our plans are cited in each Campus Improvement Plan as well as timelines for completion. |

Subject: Local Policy Update 88 1. Authority for this Action: State Law and Texas Education Code 2. Strategic Objective: Update 88 updates and encompasses changes in law from the 81st legislative Session that have an immediate effect on the governance and management of Sanger ISD. Local policies contained in Update 88 need Board approval to be in compliance with state mandates. Summary: A suggested motion for board action is as follows: " I move that the board add, revise, or delete local policies as recommended by TASB Policy Manual Update 88." Input Received: TASB Policy Services provided Update 88 per its contract with Sanger ISD. You have a copy of the needed changes. Administrative Recommendation: Recommendation is for approval |

Description:
Action Item: This is a our yearly renewal for our current school attorneys Walsh Anderson. I would like to continue to use Walsh Anderson until I can make an overall review of Walsh Anderson pricing and service. However, we can be released in 30 days from contract retainer with written notice. They are going through some additions and changes from my last conversation. I can answer more questions at our meeting if needed.
