Description:
The Board will consider and take possible action regarding the return of the district’s historical school bell, previously removed from an older campus facility and currently held in district storage. In response to community input and in recognition of the bell’s historical and sentimental significance, the district proposes to return the bell to the community for placement at its original historical location in the local cemetery. The return will occur upon completion of an appropriate structure for its display and preservation. The district will coordinate with community representatives regarding installation and may participate in a public recognition event at a later date. Recommendation: |
