An emergency or urgent public necessity exists that requires immediate action of the Board or an imminent threat to public health and safety or a reasonably unforeseeable situation exists, as follows:

Unforeseeable Situation:  Power outage on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, due to severe weather.  Pewitt CISD was without power on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 resulting in school closure.  An attendance waiver is being requested.

This notice was posted in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings act on May 26, 2015 at 10:10 a.m.
