Announcement by the chair as to the presence of a quorum, that the meeting has been duly called, and posted in the time and manner required by law

Convene in closed session under Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551 under the following sections: 551.071 - For the purpose of a private consultation with the Board's attorney on any or all subjects or matters authorized by law; section 551.072 - consider purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property, section 551.074 - personnel matters, section 551.076 - security matters, section 551.082 - student discipline matter or complaint, or section 551.0821 - personally identifiable information about public school student

551.071 - For the purpose of a private consultation with the Board's attorney on any or all subjects or matters authorized by law

Deliberate Superintendent’s recommended program change of elimination of the Dean of Instruction positions at McAuliffe, Lake Olympia, and Missouri City Middle Schools at the end of the 2013-14 school year

Deliberate declaring that a program change of elimination of the Dean of Instruction positions at McAuliffe, Lake Olympia, and Missouri City Middle Schools requires a reduction in force in accordance with Policy DFFB

Deliberate Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the following employment areas affected by the reduction in force: all term contract employees holding the position of Dean of Instruction at McAuliffe, Lake Olympia, and Missouri City Middle Schools

Deliberate the proposed nonrenewal of the term contract employees holding the position of Dean of Instruction at McAuliffe, Lake Olympia, and Missouri Middle Schools at the end of the contract year due to the reduction in force because of the program change and authorize the superintendent to notify the affected employees in accordance with applicable law and policy

Deliberate specifying the manner of hearing(s), if any, concerning the proposed nonrenewal of the term contract employees holding the position of Dean of Instruction at McAuliffe, Lake Olympia, and Missouri Middle City Schools, in accordance with DFBB (Local)

551.074 - personnel matters

Deliberate recommendation to terminate probationary employment contract of a certified employee at the end of the 2013-14 contract year

Deliberate recommendation to propose nonrenewal of the term employment contracts of certified employees at the end of the 2013-14 contract year

Deliberate specifying the manner of hearing(s), if any, concerning the proposed nonrenewal of the term contract employees in accordance with DFBB (Local)

Reconvene in open session
