I. CALL TO ORDER, ESTABLISH QUORUM
Description:
Statement of Emergency: The presiding officer shall declare the need for an Emergency Board Meeting of the Rains ISD Board of Trustees on April 19, 2022, pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551. Due to the recent storm damage to the Rains High School gym on the evening of April 12, 2022, and the morning of April 13, 2022, an emergency or urgent necessity exists requiring immediate deliberation and possible action of the Rains ISD Board of Trustees.

II. OPEN FORUM
Description:
Persons desiring to address the Board of Trustees must fill out a speaker's card and submit it to the Administrative Assistant to the Board prior to the meeting. No presentation shall exceed three minutes. The Board cannot deliberate on any subject matter that is not included on the agenda.
