Description:
Purpose: to work collaboratively to build a team of 8 engagement strategy by using what we have learned in the board self-evaluation and summer conferences with the goal of increasing community outreach and strengthening the team of 8 relationship.

3.A. Review and Discuss the Board Self-Evaluation Results
Description:
Intent: highlight strengths and areas of opportunity perceived by the board based on the TASB self-evaluation tool.

3.B. TASB Summer Leadership Institute Recap
Description:
Intent: to provide an opportunity to share learning to increase knowledge and growth among board members.
|
|
3.C. Center for Reform of School Systems (CRSS) Texas Institute for School Boards Recap
Description:
Intent: to provide an opportunity for the entire board to share their experience at CRSS and to reflect on their learning.

3.D. Board Engagement Initiatives for the 2022-2023 School Year
Description:
Intent: utilize knowledge gained from board self-evaluation, SLI, and CRSS to identify ways to put knowledge into action. Team of 8 to work collectively to identify 2-3 initiatives for the year that support the work of the district.

3.E. Book Study Planning
Description:
Intent: to work as a team of 8 through the book, The Governance Core. Discuss the structure of a book study that can be spread out throughout the 22-23 school year.
