I. Goals of the Committee
Facilities & Operations: NPSD will use data to consider long-term impacts of enrollment on budget, staffing, and buildings and will develop action plans to proactively improve the district. |

II.A. Call to Order and Roll Call, Establish a Quorum, Open Meeting Verification
Description:
The meeting will be called to order by the Chair. In the absence of the Chair, the meeting will be called to order by one of the members of the Committee.
There are 3 committee members; therefore, at least 2 members must be in attendance to establish a quorum and conduct business. Committee meetings are posted and open to the public in accordance with Open Meeting Laws. |

III.A. Food Service monthly school nutrition services report and financial status report
Description:
Administration will report to the Committee on the Food Service nutrition services report and the financial status of food services.

III.B. Business Manager's reports
Description:
Business Manager Fritz will report to the Committee on the (current month) Finance Report and the (previous month) bank reconciliation, as well as other financials.

III.C. Approval of Budget Amendments for 2026-2027
Description:
Budget Amendments have been made to the 2026-2027 budget [the budget which was approved at the Annual Meeting by eligible electors]. The final tax levy amount will be presented at the meeting.

III.D. Maintenance Report update & utilities
Description:
Building & Grounds Director Jensen will provide a maintenance update report to the Committee on projects and items being worked on throughout the district.

III.E. Approval of Health Insurance Plan

III.F. Approval of Dental Insurance Renewal
Description:
DA Duffek and Business Manager Fritz are recommending to the Committee to keep our self-funded Dental Insurance and keep the same rates.

III.H. Approval of Life Insurance Renewal
Description:
DA Duffek and Business Manager Fritz will make a recommendation to the Board for the District's Life Insurance renewal.

Description:
DA Duffek and Business Manager Fritz will make a recommendation to the Committee for the District's Long Term Disability renewal.

III.J. First review of the preliminary plan of building a classroom on the School Forest land
Description:
This project will be funded by the Northland Pines Community Foundation and fundraising efforts will begin as soon as possible.

Description:
Below is the information link for board members to review:
2027 Wisconsin State Education Convention Typically, the DA and board members leave and carpool in school vehicles on Tuesday down to Milwaukee; onsite registration / materials pickup and sessions begin Wednesday morning. Please notify Nikki by October 27, 2026 if you would like to attend; this year she must register our board members before she is allowed to make a room reservation, so timing is of the essence. |
