1. The board encourages comments from citizens.  Anyone wishing to speak, either as an individual or as a representative of a group, may do so at this time.  The Board asks that the discussion pertain to public education issues and be 3 minutes in length.  Please reserve comments relating to personnel for discussion with the appropriate district supervisor.  The Board must not discuss subjects presented in public comment.  The Board may respond in two ways:

   1. A statement of specific factual information given in response to an inquiry

   2. A recitation of existing policy in response to an inquiry 

Any deliberation of a decision that a subject shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda or a subsequent meeting; Texas Gov't Code 551.042
