Description:
TCEC provides a number of special education services for our students. This agreement covers 2024-2026 and is over $100,000 for the combined services. It is unclear whether the agreement was brought previously; it was agreed to by the former ED.

Description:
There are two documents associated with the contracted services for this special education teacher. This contract is included as the total cost may surpass $100k before the end of the year.

7. FY27 Budget Approval
Description:
This budget includes an additional .69% salary increase (in addition to the 2% on the new scale). The total of 2.69% matches that state increase per pupil

8. Approval of BVI Contract
Description:
This contract is for Elizabeth Allred, the sister of a current employee. We have a small number of students who receive BVI (Blind and Visually Impaired) services and there are limited providers. The agreement is for a maximum of $2000.

9. Approval of Policy 529
Description:
Changes were required by IQS because the 480-hour employment threshold is part of the statutory requirement in Minn. Stat. §124E.11(c) for the staff-child enrollment preference, it needed to be explicitly reflected in the policy language so the eligibility criteria are clear.

10. Approval Revised 2025-2026 Calendar
Description:
The 2025-2026 calendar needed to be changed due to the cold weather closure on March 16th.
The calendar changes this Friday from a PD day for all staff to a half day PD day for secondary staff and students in attendance half day. Elementary will continue with a fully day of PD. The change also includes a half day of instruction for all students on the last day of school which was originally a full day of PD. |
