Representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend. All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No decision may be made in executive session. |

7. Social Science Curriculum Adoption

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) reviewed instructional materials in 2025 and formally recommended materials to meet the needs of the district's social science classrooms. The materials currently in use are in need of replacement and are not up to date with the newly adopted Oregon social science standards.

8. Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Implementation Update

10. Budget Committee Appointments

At their November 6, 2025 Business Meeting, the board declared positions 6 and 7 on the Gresham-Barlow Budget Committee vacant. Positions are filled by appointment of the board. At the November 20, 2025 Work Session, they appointed Garrett Wood to Position 7 on the Budget Committee.
The board approved the following process for filling the budget committee vacancies:
The previous committee member for Position 6 indicated they could not continue serving on the budget committee. Applications were accepted and the board chair and vice-chair have interviewed applicants and will bring forward a recommendation for appointment.

11. School Tours
