Public Content:  PURPOSE:  The purpose of this board meeting is to support a successful transition for the new superintendent and the board by establishing a strong foundation for effective governance. During the meeting, the board will focus on developing and strengthening the new governance team, identifying and discussing short-term district goals and priorities, clarifying expectations for the board and superintendent, and beginning the conversation about the superintendent and board evaluation processes. This collaborative session is designed to promote a shared understanding of roles, responsibilities, and priorities so the board and superintendent can work together as a cohesive leadership team during this important transition.
