VIII.D. Second of three readings of policies:
Description:
Policy 402 requires 3 readings due to adding reasonable accommodation process provision enacted by the 2026 Minnesota legislature. See article E. Article D adds specific contact information
Policy 423 requires 3 readings because Article E section 5 adds "grooming" prohibition enacted by the 2026 MN legislature. Policy 509 is new to our district, therefore it requires three readings. Note the highlighted areas require additional documentation. Policy 521, Three readings are required as Article II E was added. The content adds reasonable accommodation process provision as enacted by the MN legislature. Policy 613, substantial addition of Article IX (the high school diploma for veterans). There were also a couple changes in legal references plus a deletion of a definition Art. III B. Policy 621 requires three readings due to substantial changes. Since the introduction of the READ Act in 2025 requirements have been met. This version revisions clarify and refine entities for reading instruction. It give guidance for where the READ Act goes from 2026 and years beyond. Policy 709, change related to the addition of a first aid kit requirement (Article B.10.c) Policy 722 will require three readings, with tentative approval at the November 23, 2026 board meeting. This will replace the version we approved on 2026 Feb 23. Changes include:
1. rearrange Article IV.B and removal of IV.C. and Note. 2. Change in title of Article VI. 3. Insertion of language that is now Article IX. Previous Article IX is now Article X.

VIII.E. Dissolution of old gymnastics co-op sponsorship and application for new co-op sponsorship.
Description:
This isn't the proper or easiest way to submit this gymnastics co-op information, but this is what Redwood Valley sent in to the MSHSL. It is actually 4 different forms to dissolve their old co-op, all signed by one school, and 5 different forms to enact the new co-op, all signed by one school. It is supposed to be compiled into a single form, but since the MSHSL accepted this, I doubt we are going to get that. If it meets the standard for what the MSHSL requires, it would be everything that we need to keep on file.
