V.A.2. Financial Reports V.B. Classroom Observation Policy V.B.1. Classroom Observations: To protect student privacy and maintain compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Crawford ISD does not permit parents or representatives of outside agencies to observe students in classroom settings. During classroom instruction, personally identifiable information (PII) may be disclosed through routine educational activities, including but not limited to teachers calling on students by name, students participating in classroom discussions, students working on individual assignments, and student information displayed within the classroom. Because these activities may reveal information protected under FERPA, Crawford ISD restricts classroom observations to safeguard the privacy rights of all students. |
