An amendment is needed to the Petty Cash Resolution, which adds PAEC Academy as one of the programs to receive $300 in petty cash to help meet the academic and operational needs of the program.

7. EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT
Description:
The Executive Board meeting was held on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Those present included: Dr. Dan Sullivan, Dr. Nicole Spatafore from District #87, Dr. Victoria Stockton and Ms. Michaelene Bender from District #88, Dr. Janiece Jackson from District #92, Dr. Kevin Suchinski from District #93, and Mr. Alexander Aschoff from District #209. Also present included: Mr. Michael James, Mrs. Vanessa Schmitt, Dr. Paul Starck-King, Ms. LaShonda McDaniel, and Mrs. Trainette Latham from PAEC Administration. The Executive Board reviewed and recommended approval of most action items on the agenda except for two. Action items regarding the Petty Cash Amendment failed and the Action Item regarding the Electrical Vehicle Charging Station had been Tabled. Dr. Victoria Stockton from District #88 will be the Executive Board Representative for the Governing Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The Executive Board has established a calendar for rotation for attendance at the Governing Board meetings. |

10. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S INFORMATIONAL REPORT

10.A. SAD NEWS
Description:
There have been several PAEC staff that have lost loved ones in the past few weeks. A permanent Substitute Teacher from PAEC Center has lost a niece and sister, a Teacher from PAEC Center lost her mother, an Occupational Therapist lost her mom, and a Program Assistant from PAEC Center has lost her dad. Flowers will be sent to the families on behalf of the Board.
