Description:
Cedar Mountain School Board Prepares for Strategic Planning
The Cedar Mountain school district is in the beginning stages of developing a new strategic plan. The school board is working with Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) to provide guidance and assist with the planning.The school board will be seeking input from school district residents, staff, and students to help in identifying the school district’s strengths and areas for improvement. There will be opportunities to provide input through surveys and listening sessions. The information gathered from the surveys and listening sessions will be analyzed and summarized by MSBA. The summary will be reviewed by a strategic planning committee representing school board members, staff, students, and community residents. The committee will help identify school district strategic priorities. The strategic planning process will begin in the fall. More information on how you can provide your input will be announced. 10. HR/Payroll/Executive Assistant to the Superintendent Position
Description:
The HR/Executive Assistant to the Superintendent position vacancy has been advertised. Applications are due June 6. John will conduct the interviews with Mariah and recommend a candidate for at the June 18 school board meeting. The job description for the vacant position is attached.

11. Approve 2025-26 School Calendar
Description:
In addition to the LETRS training required by law, the 25-26 calendar provides for staff development training as follows: August 25-28, November 3 - 2 hours, January 16 - 2 hours (usually a workday), February 13 - 4 hours, March 20 - 2 hours. These sessions will be used for PBIS, ALICE, and Curriculum Development. The superintendent recommends approving the 25-26 calendar.
