8.e. Deliberation and Possible Action to Adopt a Board Resolution that Accomplishes the following:
(1)Declares the Following Tract of Real Property that is Presently Owned by the District to be Surplus Property: The tract and improvements thereon located at 201 Walnut Street, in the City of Ropesville, County of Hockley, more particularly described as follows: All of Lots Numbers Eight (8) and Nine (9) of the Nabours Subdivision out of Block Number Seven (7) of the Evans Addition to the Town of Ropesville, Hockley County, Texas; (2) Authorizes the Superintendent or Board President to offer such surplus property available for purchase to the highest responsible bidder in accordance with the procedures set forth in state law for the notice, bidding, and sale of such property; and (3) Authorizes the Superintendent or Board President to prepare, execute, and file all documents necessary to carry out the conveyance of such surplus property to the highest and best qualified bidder subject to the conditions stated therein. |

8.f. Deliberation and possible action to adopt a resolution selecting the construction delivery method in accordance with Texas Government Code 2269.056 that provides the best value to the District in the construction/renovation project of the District’s softball facility and authorizing the Administration to advertise for the selection of firms to perform the construction services.
