12. Approve Lane Changes - Action Item

Description:
The lane change committee, consisting of two teachers and two administrators, met on September 23 to review transcripts and applications from teachers requesting a lane change per the Education MN, Windom contract. The committee recommends board approval for the attached list.

13. Naming Rights Approval - Action Item

Description:
Windom Area Schools will be seeking donations to fund an Athletic Complex, a Fine Arts Center, and remodel to make space for wrestling and gymnastics as well as update the locker room to include team spaces. As part of the fundraising package, naming rights will be offered to individuals, groups, and businesses. A proposed Naming Rights Document will be presented to the board for review and approval.

14. Approve renewal of Automobile Insurance coverage effective October 28, 2024 - Action Item

Included in the packet is the listing of our automobile insurance. It is our recommendation that the insurance is approved through Bank Midwest/Auto Owners Insurance effective October 28, 2024.

15. Approve Early Resignation Guidelines for 2024-2025 - Action Item

Description:
Early resignation incentives as outlined in the attached guidelines are advantageous for the employee and the district. By learning about planned retirements or resignations in December or January, the district to plan ahead and recruit top talent early in the hiring season. These are the same guidelines that WAS has used for several years and we've been happy with the results.
