A. Public Notice - Ribbon Cutting and Senator Meet & Greet
Description:
One or more members of the Moffat County School District RE-1 Board of Education will be attending the ribbon cutting for the new gym at the Moffat County High School and immediately following will attend the meet and greet for Senator Lukens in Hayden at the Hayden Center. The purpose of this event is for board members to celebrate the opening and success of the gymnasium as well as engaging in discussions with state Senators to gain knowledge on upcoming legislative events and happenings - it is not to conduct public business of the local district or engage in formal action. While notice is not required pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402, the board believes in transparency and therefore is providing this information regarding the event.
