1. Discuss and approve the TEKS Certification and Allotment Survey for the 2026-2027 school year. 2. Discuss and vote to approve Teacher Contracts for the 2026–2027 school year. 3. Discuss and vote to approve the hiring of new district employees for the 2026–2027 school year. 3. Discuss and accept resignations from district employees 4. Discuss and approve the purchase of Chromebooks for the 2026–2027 school year. 5. Discuss and consider the Bus Seat Belt Safety Report and being in compliance with Senate Bill 546.
Description:
Based on current budget constraints and financial priorities, Hedley ISD’s 2025-2026 budget does not permit the district to purchase or retrofit all buses with three-point seat belts as required under Texas Transportation Code §547.701(f). The Board directs the administration to complete the required public reporting and submission to the Texas Education Agency in compliance with Senate Bill 546.
