PUBLIC COMMENT (7-10 minutes) Any individual wishing to address the Board of Directors of the Nueva Vida Apartments must sign in with Samuel Palacios, Nueva Vida Apartments Board Services, in person or by calling him at 713-641-1164. Those doing so will be allowed to address the board for a maximum of five minutes. Individuals will address the board in the order that they have signed in.

4.a. Approval of May 2023 Unaudited Financials for Nueva Vida.

Description:
Kimber Dover Apartments - Nueva Vida financial statements for the year-to-date period ending on May 31, 2023, are attached. Nueva Vida uses a calendar year (Jan to Dec) to account for its activities.

4.b. Ratification of the Approval of Jaime De La Isla as the New Director and Property Manager of Nueva Vida.
Description:
Jaime de la Isla is a proud father of 3 college-educated, adult children and grandfather to 4 high school and elementary school students. As an active member of his church, schools, and community, Jaime is a member of Unity of Houston Board of Directors. Jaime’s deep roots in the community he grew up in add a personal touch to his position. His familiarity with the local culture, values, and needs will contribute to his effectiveness in meeting the unique requirements of the residents at Nueva Vida Senior Living Apartments.
