Description:
CPI-U for calendar year 2025 has been released by the federal government and the rate is 2.7%. This CPI-U rate is used for our 2026 Tax Levy. As you are aware approximately 79% of our operating fund revenue is generated by local property tax and that is the only dynamic revenue growth for the school district. The additional revenue generated would be approximately 2.133% (2.7% x 79% = 2.133%). |
