Authorize Publishing the Notice of RNR Hearing and Notice of Public Hearing – On July 25th, the Board of Trustees approved the RNR Hearing and the Notice of Public Hearing that was set for Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at 5:00 pm and 5:20 pm in room 257 in the President’s Addition at Cloud County Community College, Concordia Campus. Both hearing publications will be no less than 10 days prior to September 5th. The budgets will be submitted to the Cloud County Clerk by October 1st. A draft version of the proposed budget is enclosed. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize publication of the Notice of RNR Hearing and Notice of Public Hearing for the 2023-2024 certified budget, with the hearings scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at 5:00 pm and 5:20 pm in room 257 in the President’s Addition at Cloud County Community College, Concordia Campus. B. Approval of Security Cameras and Card Access for the Technical Education and Innovation Center RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the purchase from American Digital Security in the amount of $73,715.53 and authorize payment from Fund 63 - Building Fund. C. Approval of Network Switches for the Technical Education and Innovation Center RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the bid from IT Outlet, Inc. in the amount of $44,936.80 and authorize payment from Fund 63 - Building Fund. D. Waiver of Policies on Alcohol on Campus – KACC Dinner. Cloud County Community College will be hosting the Kansas Association of Community Colleges (KACC) Dinner on Friday, August 25th, 2023. K.S.A. 41-719 allows the Board of Trustees of a community college to exempt the consumption of alcoholic liquor on campus in accordance with policies adopted by such board. The Administration requests Policies C7 and E4 be waived to allow alcohol in the President’s Addition on August 25th, 2023 for the KACC Dinner. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Waive Policies C7 and E4 to allow the consumption of alcoholic liquor in the President’s Addition at Cloud County Community College on August 25th for the Kansas Association of Community Colleges (KACC) Dinner. |
