2.1. City of Banks Urban Renewal Agency

Description:
The Banks Urban Renewal Agency (Agency) is notifying you that the Banks City Council is considering adoption of a substantial amendment to the Banks Urban Renewal Plan (Plan). As this is considered a substantial amendment to the Plan, the Agency is required to notify all taxing districts of the amendment.
One of the requirements in ORS 457 is that if there is a project that is defined as a public building in the statute, three of the four most impacted taxing districts must approve the project and Banks School District is one of those four taxing districts. This approval must be by adoption of a resolution by the board.
