As discussed at the last board meeting, a new program called Idaho Launch gives eligible senior students 80% of the tuition and fees at an eligible institution covered, up to a maximum amount of $8,000. In order for our students to be eligible, they must meet certain requirements, and our school district must declare its chosen Idaho Launch plan. Attached is our chosen Idaho Launch plan using Senior Projects as the Career Exploration Pathway. The state looked at Preston's proposal and approved the plan. It is recommended that the board approve Preston's plan using Senior Projects Career Exploration Component. The high school will inform parents about this program via the alert messaging system and hold an assembly for all seniors and meet with them again individually to inform them about this great opportunity.
