The maintenance position for the school has been unfilled for a while, but Chris has always been there for us to keep the building running smoothly. Whether the toilets don’t work, the heat goes out, the generators don’t run, the ceiling is leaking, or the snow is about to engulf us, Chris is there to lend a hand. On several occasions, he has even "loaned" us his own maintenance crew and outside professionals! Chris embodies the community spirit of Chenega, and we are very fortunate to have him.
