B.1. Review Board Goals
Umatilla School Board Goals for 2024-2025 Goal 1: Board Members will attend board meetings at a rate of 80% or better by the end of the school year. Goal 2: Each Board Member will attend six (6) school events throughout the school year such as; sporting event, band/choir concert, open house, graduation etc. Goal 3: The Board will recognize staff accomplishments at every Board meeting throughout the school year. Goal 4: The Board will provide oversight for bond projects and responsible use of funds. Goal 5: The Board will strive for personal professional growth as board members by: * Reviewing and updating Board policies * Attending at least one (OSBA, NSBA, or other) training opportunity annually. Goal 6: The Board will seek opportunities to promote the educational needs of students in and out of Umatilla School District with state and federal representatives. Goal 7: The Board Members will seek to keep the public educated and informed on the roles, responsibilities and limitations of each individual Board Member. |
