5.B. 3-hour delay schedule
Speaker(s):
Dr. Nate Ledlow
Description:
3-hour delay proposal: A proposal implementing a 3-hour delay option for use in limited severe weather situations when road conditions are unsafe at the normal start of the school day but are expected to improve significantly within a few hours. This model would allow school to begin at 10:55 a.m. rather than 7:55 a.m. (or 9:55 a.m. on a typical 2-hour delay), giving road crews additional time to plow and treat streets and allowing staff, students, and families to travel under safer conditions. Under this approach, secondary students would still attend all seven class periods on a modified schedule, with shortened instructional blocks and no lunch period, enabling the district to preserve the school day while avoiding a full cancellation. |
|
5.C. Annual Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) Approval
Speaker(s):
Dr. Nate Ledlow

5.D. Certification of Ballot Proposal

Description:
This proposal will allow the school district to continue to levy the statutory rate of not to exceed 18 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law, required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation allowance and renews millage that will expire with the 2026 tax levy.
