9.3. Resolution Relating to the Termination and Nonrenewal of the Teaching Contract of Probationary Teachers

WHEREAS, __________ is a probationary teacher in Northeast Metropolitan Intermediate School District No. 916, BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Northeast Metropolitan Intermediate School District No. 916, that pursuant to M.S. 122A.40, the teaching contract of __________, a probationary teacher in Northeast Metropolitan Intermediate School District No. 916, is hereby terminated at the end of the working day on June 30, 2025. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written notice be sent to said teacher regarding termination and nonrenewal of their contract as provided by law, and that said notice shall be in substantially the attached form.

9.4. Approval of Mahtomedi Academy ALC Lease Agreement with Century College

Northeast Metro 916 has finalized a lease agreement with Century College for the Mahtomedi Academy Area Learning Center (ALC), which recently relocated to the Century College campus. This collaboration with Century College enhances educational opportunities for ALC students by providing access to a collegiate environment and additional resources. The move reflects our commitment to expanding student pathways and fostering partnerships that support student success.

9.5. Approval of Educational Services Agreement with Spring Lake Park ISD 16

This agreement is for Northeast Metro 916 to provide educational services on behalf of the Spring Lake Park School District for those students who are enrolled at Avanti Center residential treatment program.

The recommendation is, the School Board authorize the agreement for Northeast Metro 916 to provide the educational services at Avanti Center on behalf of the Spring Lake Park School District from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

9.6. Approval of Know the Truth Contract

The purpose of this contract is to facilitate the delivery of the Know the Truth Prevention Program to the students, parents and staff associated with the Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate District. Know the Truth will provide chemical health individual and group support to 916 Mahtomedi Academy, East View Academy, Metro Heights Academy, Quora Secondary School and WELS.
Recommended Motion(s):
The recommendation is, the School Board approve the agreement between Know the Truth and Northeast Metro 916 to provide chemical health services for the period of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 in the amount of $76,362.80.
