Description:
Our school board policy 531 outlines the pledge of allegiance expectations. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 121A.11, subd. 3 (2) local school boards may waive this requirement annually. It is recommended that Northeast Metro 916 waive this requirement for all programs. |

9.2. Approval of Strategic Actions Benchmarks for the 2024-25 School Year

The development of 916’s annual Strategic Actions Benchmarks occurs as part of our yearly planning and monitoring cycle. Input for the annual benchmarks is gathered through surveys and environmental scans to ensure a well-rounded perspective. The resulting draft of the 2024-2025 strategic actions benchmarks reflects the collective aspirations and aligns with the district's commitment to excellence in education.

The recommendation is, the School Board approve the 2024/2025 Strategic Actions Benchmarks which reflect the district's commitment to continuous improvement and its dedication to providing an exceptional, individualized education for all students.

9.3. Approval of School Board Policy

This policy was presented for a first reading at the June 5 Board Meeting. Since that reading, a minor revision was proposed by MSBA to reflect 2024 legislative changes and reformatted to enhance readability. This revision is reflected in the attached policy. Policy 507: Corporal Punishment

9.4. Approval of Canvas Health Contract

Description:
The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate the delivery of mental health and related services to students attending Northeast Metro 916 programs. These services are provided through the School Linked Mental Health Grant and delivered by Canvas Health TAP therapists and in the EMHC classrooms.
Recommended Motion(s):
The recommendation is, the School Board approve the agreement between Canvas Health and Northeast Metro 916 for the period of September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025 in the amount of $314,470.90.

9.5. Approval of Contract between Bamboo Professionals and Northeast Metro 916

Description:
Northeast Metro 916 has been contracting with Jessica Dodge, Licensed Mental Health Professional, from Bamboo Professionals to provide prevention, intervention, post-vention and resiliency services to staff at District 916. This contract is being funded by the Innovation Grant.
Recommended Motion(s):
The recommendation is, the School Board approve the contract between Northeast Metro 916 and Bamboo Professionals in the amount of $52,360.00 between 8/26/24 and 8/1/25.

9.6. Approval of Aris Clinic Agreement to Provide Educational Services

The purpose of this agreement is to provide educational services to students at Aris Clinic for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. This program is operated in Woodbury.
Recommended Motion(s):
The recommendation is, the School Board approve the agreement for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. This contract will remain in effect through July 31, 2026.

The Board Forum provides School Board members with an opportunity to share items of interest and information from their home district. Board members may share verbal updates at the meeting which are pertinent to all of the member districts related to the following: MSBA, AMSD and special events in Northeast Metro 916 and Member Districts. |
