August 5, 2023 at 9:00 AM - Bethel Board of Education Special Meeting - RETREAT

Rationale:  Annually, the Board of Education adopts goals for the coming school year.   A district team (teachers & administrators) formulated a Theory of Action to address Tier 1 or regular classroom instruction.   The two proposed goals are from the administration to focus the Theory of Action.   The Board also had two additional goals for consideration of continuing for the 2023-2024 school year.  

Rationale:  This discussion item is to allow for an opportunity for the Board to provide input to the administration on proposed reports for the 2023-2024 school year.  

Rationale:  There has been a request from a Citizen to live stream Board of Education meetings.  The administration will provide details on how it can be accomplished if there is a desire to change it from the current format (posted the day after the meeting).  

We did survey other districts.  Here are the responses.  

Rationale:  At the last special meeting, there was a discussion about providing input to the Superintendent Evaluation indicators.   Please review section 7 of the Superintendent's Contact for the parameters of evaluation format.
