2.A. Appointment of Director of Finance and Business Operations
Rationale:
As you know, we have been in the process of hiring for the Director of Finance and Business Operations. State-wide, this is an extremely difficult position to fill.
The district had a total of fifteen (15) candidates that submitted applications (not all were eligible for the position). The process included two rounds. The first round was screening interviews. The committee then narrowed it down to three candidates, who were presented with a performance task and additional questions. After completion of both rounds, the Committee unanimously recommended the candidate to move forward in the process. After the formal committee recommendation, we conducted two more interviews. The first was with Dr. Carver and Dr. Brooks. The second was with Ms. O'Brien, Dr. Carver and Dr. Brooks. |
