The US World and News Report just released their 2021 rankings of High Schools. We were notified that we were moved into the Top 50 in CT (#47). We were 53 last year. This is quite an honor.

Rationale:
Presentation of Award Certificates: The CABE Student Leadership Awards are given to recognize student achievement and potential. Rationale:
As has been previously discussed, the instructional models and school schedules we have adopted this year have caused us to "rethink" the school day and schedules. As a result, both the middle school and high school have worked with their school based teams to capitalize on what has worked to create new schedules for the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Watson and Mr. Troetti will be presenting, for your information, those schedules. Included in the discussion is a rationale for the adjustments.

As part of our overall policy review, as has been previously communicated, we are starting with review of all policies in the 1000 series. This policy was last reviewed in 2010 and sets the frame for community relationships with the Board and district. Upon review of the policy, I have made some suggested changes and comments regarding the clarity of some of the statements. This is the second reading.
