The job goal is as follows: The SEL Coach consults regularly with Classroom Teachers and Building Principals with the aim of improving social-emotional functioning for all students in the district. The SEL coach engages in extensive, on-going collaboration with teachers for the purpose of assessing student needs, providing social-emotional instruction, utilizing SEL-based strategies in the classroom, and developing and improving district SEL curriculum.

Rationale:
State statute allows a Board of Education to formally set graduation at its first meeting in April. The Administration is recommending Tuesday, June 22, 2021 as the Graduation Date. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 would be the rain date. Last day for students will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021 (half day). The Board will be asked to vote to approve the graduation date.
