2.A. BMS Boiler Plant Issues
Rationale:
At our last BOE meeting, in the update, I shared with you a few facilities issues that need to be addressed. Last week, Mr. Germinaro, Kaj Huld (Peregrine), CT Combustion and Mrs. Yonsky met to discuss options. Unfortunately, the boiler needs to be addressed before the heating season. Please read the attached memo, which explains the issue and options. We will have an estimate on the cost of replacement by Wednesday.

2.B. Sign-Off on School Renovation Projects - SCG-042
Rationale:
On October 10th we are scheduled to go to the Office of School Construction with our final construction documents for approval to go out to bid on both projects. The BOE needs to certify (through a motion) that these are the final plans and professional cost estimates.
The Board has access to the team drive with the set of construction documents, for review.
While, we understand you are not experts in drawings, please note all local building officials and 504 Coordinator (Mrs. Budris) have signed off. In addition, our Owner's Representative, Commissioning Agent, Construction Manager and a Third Party Code Reviewer have reviewed the documents and provided input. The construction documents were revised to reflect their comments. All of the documents are aligned to the Educational Specifications you already approved.
We should have the updated estimates by Wednesday and will post to this portal for review as soon as wehave them.
