9.A. Project Updates - Approval of Renovation Status/Priority List
Rationale:
This week we received approval from the Department of Administrative Services, Office of School Construction for Renovation Status. We also received notification of being placed on the Priority List. Formal approval of the Priority List is conducted by the Connecticut General Assembly in their winter session.

9.B. BOE Contracts and P.A. 17-2
Rationale:
Public Act 17-2 Sec. 157. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Any local board of education shall file forthwith a signed copy of any contract for administrative personnel with the town clerk, which town clerk shall post a copy of any such contract on the town's Internet web site. Any regional board of education shall file a copy of any such contract with the town clerk in each member town, which town clerk shall post a copy of any such contract on the town's Internet web site. This district has worked with our Town Clerk to link all district contracts to the Town website. It should be up in the next week.

Rationale:
As previously discussed, the Bethel Public Schools has reached the state mandate (20 language learners of one language) for providing English Language services for our students at Berry and Rockwell. As we are moving forward with the position, we are requesting approval for a job description.
