As you are aware, we took our time in our search for the new Director of Instructional Technology position. We have had three rounds within the process:

• Round 1 - Screening Interviews - Committee: Theresa Yonsky, Laila Rudinas, Jess Wismar, Chris Troetti, Trish Soucy, Kit Nielson, Sue Pare, Kristen Brooks, Christine Carver, and Mickie Rutledge
• Round 2 - Performance Task - Candidates were provided with two case studies and asked to present findings (attached) Committee: Bryan Watson, Donna Burns, Theresa Yonsky, Dave Arre, Chris Troetti, Trish Soucy, Kit Nielson, Kristen Brooks, Christine Carver, and Mickie Rutledge
• Reference Checking - Completed by Christine Carver
• Round 3 - Interview with Christine Carver and Kristen Brooks

At this point, the committee is recommending Dr. Micheal Vose to the board for approval. The committee(s) overwhelmingly felt that his credentials and experiences far surpassed all other applicants for the position. All of them concur that Dr. Vose is a visionary thinker whose expertise is in the implementation of technology into instruction. His dissertation focus was Exploring Teacher Roles and Human Capital Needs in Secondary Personalized Learning Environments.
