Rationale: 

This policy is being reviewed to add language so that students who take high school courses in middle school will be granted high school credit.  The two most frequent areas in which our students at Bethel Middle School take high school courses are in mathematics and world language.  

Suggested language would include:   

The fulfillment of the mandated credit requirement, beginning with the class of 2022 can include the successful completion of a course in grades six, seven, or eight or an online course successfully completed.

Rationale:  This summer, the fundraising policy was reviewed with all parent groups.  There were a few concerns which need clarification.  I have added specific comments in the sections which require clarification.  

Rationale:  In our parent review of the fundraising policy (1324P), several issues regarding advertisement came up.  Dr. Carver will explain the issues to determine if there is a need for a policy adjustment.
