Welcome to the Union City Community Schools Board meeting. Our meeting agenda is available for you to follow. The expectation for our board meeting is to follow this agenda closely. We operate under the Open Meetings Act and utilize Roberts Rule of Order to govern our discussion and decision-making process. There is an opportunity for public comment during our set agenda. We welcome the public to express their opinions during this time of our agenda. If there are questions about the agenda or the board meeting process, please seek out one of the Board members for clarification.

This is the section of the meeting in which the public may make comments or share their opinions about items on the agenda. It is not Board practice to act on the concerns voiced during this meeting to allow the Board to do further research.

III.a. High School Girls Basketball Summer Trips (Over 50 Miles and Overnight)

Description:
Board action is required to approve the high school girls basketball team to go to Cedar Point June 9-10th for a tournament and to spend a day at the park; and for the team to attend Ferris State Team Camp June 24-25.

III.b. Athletic Trainer Contract for 2025-2026

Description:
Board approval is required to add an athletic trainer contract in the amount of $5700/100 hour block to the 2025-2026 budget. If approved, the company we are contracting with can start looking for a trainer.

Board action is required for the board to adjourn to closed session for the purpose of considering the purchase of real property per Section 8(d) of the Open Meetings Act.
