4.A. LaCreole math staff attended the International Math Conference, learning instructional strategies for middle school learners and evidence-based grading strategies.

4.B. Isaac Acosta provided ENVoY Professional Development to staff. The training shared effective classroom management strategies.

4.C. Every school is sending out monthly attendance reports to families regarding attendance.
|
|
4.D. Recently Whitworth celebrated their first Surprise Attendance Award Day! Students in attendance received popcorn with a surprise in the bag. The fun celebration is part of the ongoing efforts to encourage regular attendance and recognize students for showing up ready to learn.
|

4.E. Officer Thompson joined Morrison's African Drumming class recently.
|
|
4.F. H2O donated 50 costumes to Lyle in order to make the annual dress-up day a great event for students who might not hvae had something to wear.

4.G. Thirty-five staff attended an Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) training last week.
