VI.f. Information Technology Fee for Students
Presenter:
Dr. Glendon Forgey
Description:
Anthology has provided a Statement of Work for upgrades to meet THECB requirements, the cost of which is $120,000. Anthology has offered the college to spread the payment over two fiscal years.
The software requirements and changes affects all students (including dual credit). Furthermore, many of college distance learning classes are for dual credit students. Currently, the college waives all fees, including the information technology fee, for dual credit students. The information technology fee is a semester-based fee. For FY22-23, the fee is $56 per semester (NOT per hour). Budget Information: To compensate for the additional cost associated with the Anthology Statement of Work, the budget will be increased by $60,000 for FY22-23 and FY23-24. The information technology fee applied to all students will help to cover the cost of the software modifications and the cost to provide distance learning technology.
