Description: 

• JBS graciously donated $4,962.00 for the JBS Futures Scholarship Program for JBS employees and dependents.
• The Amarillo Area Foundation on behalf of Perryton Pathways graciously donated $48,885.17 for the Perryton Pathways scholarship program.
• Chevron Phillips Chem Co graciously donated $7,300 for scholarships for Borger High School Dual Credit students.
• Phillips 66 graciously donated $35,000.00; $5,000 for the P66 Marketable Skills scholarship and $30,000 in unrestricted funds.
• The Brumley Foundation graciously donated $85,000; $25,000 for Dual Credit scholarships and $60,000 for scholarships for low-income students.

 

• Rice Construction graciously donated labor to build a 6x10 shed on the Rodeo grounds.  Work included concrete, laying the water line, electrical, and insulation.  The estimated value of this in-kind donation is $8,000-$10,000.
• Phillips 66 donated a Miller 200LE welding machine to the welding department.  The estimated value of this in-kind donation is $2,000.

Description:  Policy Update 42 for the Board Policy Manual from TASB contains (LEGAL) and (LOCAL) policy changes.  (LEGAL) policy changes should be reviewed.  (LOCAL) policy changes, which are recommended by TASB Community College Services, must be added, revised, or deleted.  See attachments for details regarding the updates.

(LOCAL) policy changes are attached for review.  They will be an action item on the agenda at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting.

Description:  A Joint Election Order will be issued by the City of Borger for the election scheduled for May 7, 2022.  The following entities combine their elections with the City of Borger: Frank Phillips College (Borger Junior College District), Borger Independent School District, and Hutchinson County Hospital District.  Upon approval of the Joint Election Order, Frank Phillips College will be included in the joint election and shall be solely responsible for paying the expense of the College District's election supplies and all other costs of its election.  Should Frank Phillips College meet the qualifications under the law to cancel its election due to unopposed candidates, the District will share expenses incurred up to and including the last day for write-in candidates to declare candidacy which is 5:00 p.m., February 18, 2022.

Further, the Board of Regents of Frank Phillips College shall issue a Notice of General Election for the May 7, 2022, General Election, to elect representatives for the following seats:

• Two(2) Regents for full, six (6) year terms
• One (1) Regent representing Spring Creek for full, six (6) year term
• One (1) Regent for unexpired, four (4) year term

Description:  This deed grants the City of Perryton a 50' x 50' tract, which would be used for a natural gas town border station.

Description:  Each branch campus of Frank Phillips College may have a non-voting community representative sit with the Board of Regents and participate in its activities to the extent allowed by law.

Description:  The attached Interlocal Participation Agreement would allow FPC to become a member of The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative.
