I. Public Hearing and Regular Board Meeting:

I.A. Somerset ISD will hold a Public Hearing at 6:30 pm, on Monday, November 09, 2026.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Somerset Independent School District's rating under the Texas Education Agency School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) financial accountability system for Texas school districts 2025-2026.

Public participation in the discussion is invited.

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Somerset Independent School District will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Public Hearing of Somerset Independent School District's rating on the state's financial accountability system.

VII.A. Approval of the October 19, 2026, Regular Board Meeting Minutes and Special Board Meeting & Goal Setting Workshop Minutes.
 

VII.B. Approval of RFP 24-005, District Operations and District-Wide Supplies, Materials, and services to provide the needed materials, Supplies, and services from additional vendors.

VIII. PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION AND/OR ACTION ITEMS:

VIII.A. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the ratification to purchase from Air Stream Services, Inc. in the amount of $74,367.00 for the replacement of the Somerset Elementary School Gymnasium rooftop HVAC unit.

VIII.B. Discussion and possible action to select a Board Trustee Representative for the Somerset Education Foundation.

VIII.C. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval to award RFP 26-006 for Copier/MFD Equipment and Print Management Software and authorize the Superintendent to negotiate and execute the final contract.

VIII.D. Presentation of the Somerset Independent School District Finance Update.

IX. CLOSED SESSION:
The Board will convene in Closed Session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, et. Seq. (TGC 551.071, TGC 551.072, TGC 551.073, TGC 551.074, TGC 551.076, TGC 551.082, TGC 551.083, and 551.084) to consider the following:
